We had another great sale last week. It was great to see a Victorian tilt top table with rosewood veneer sell well, $440 hammer price. The Vintage Japanese Kutani porcelain 27 piece tea set was sought after and sold accordingly. Also, the rare as hen’s teeth, Diana Australian pottery Fitzroy Football Club 7 piece drinks set went very well!
We have been hard at work getting stock prepared for this auction with such items as an Asprey & Co. jug, Uranium, Lalique, Boda, Vannes, amber glass pieces, Fler MCM furniture, gents, Omega, Unicorn, Longines watches, Australian pottery, Margarest Tompins, huon pine and other wooden items, vinyl records by the Laughing Clowns, Led Zepp, Creedance, The Pixies, Prince, Billy Idol, The Who plus band shirts, banners and posters, large turtle shell, cigarette lighters, toys, diecasts, cereal, Watermans cigarette pos case, packaging, comics, Melways and other directories, ladies accessories, 1920s black ribbon worked jacket with mink collar, 1920s silk chemises, Harry Who swing coat, heaps of costume jewellery, amber, silver, glass, mop pearl buckles, beaded embleshiments and decorative swords. Some fantastic novelty china and much much more!
Art works by Phylis Waterhouse, Carlyle Jackson, J Calder, Kim Hart, George Garden Colville, engravings by Hogarth, Raimond Bonheur, works on paper by John Haycroft, a Steven Krahe mixed media on glass and a K. Johnston laser cut free form sculpture.

We are looking to employ another casual worker!! Someone to help unload and receive goods, enter stock into our system, help customers etc. Also with good computer skills to work Thursday evenings as auction clerk.
